No.22 Uechi long shot created a rebound opportunity,
finished by No.3 Kishita, scoring the first goal of the match. Omron, unable to shoot past the agile and quick goalkeeping from No.1 Kuwahara, the score remained 1-0 for the next few minutes. Omron managed to breakthrough Latida’s defense to score their first goal in the 6m35s mark. Starting to regain momentum, the second goal was score by Omron line player shortly after. With a brilliant pass from No.22 Uechi to No.8 Nakayama on the line, it became a draw. Followed by great keeping skills from No.1 Kuwahara, an open shot from the right winger taken by Omron was prevented. Unable to finish on Omron’s strong defense, Latida called for a time out at the 15min mark to strategies as Omron was leading by 3 goals. Seconds after, a brilliant pass from No.5 Sakamoto to No.23 Eto brought a point closer to the opponent. It was a nail-biter game which ended with a penalty at the very last second taken by No.22 Uechi to secure a one point lead for Terrace Hotels at the end of the first half.
Within a minute in the second half, Omron managed to score 2 goals from a breakthrough and a fast attack from a turnover. Omron has now caught up with the score. An attempted shot from Latida turned over to a quick attack for omron causing them to attain another point. Within 3mins of the second half, Latida called for a timeout to strategies. For 17mins in the second half, Latida kept close to Omron by keeping the goal difference. Even though Latida tried to close the gap with Omron, they managed pull away to keep the goal lead until the end of the final whistle.
